Who are interested in adding a human-centric perspective, grounded in ways of seeing like an Anthropologist, to their next offsite. I work with those who believe their audience will benefit from thinking differently about old and messy challenges. A few examples of topics I have covered in the past include: Humans and Technology, Workplace Culture, AI and Organizations, Diversity and Innovation, and the Power of Collaboration.

Executive Leadership
Products and services make sense (or not) in context. Our own assumptions about "what's going on here?" can blind us to the experiences of others. This misalignment is just plain bad for business as it leads to products and services out of sync with customers. In turn, limiting opportunity for better human experiences and better business outcomes.
Leaders willing to identify, reflect on, and question how taken-for-granted ways of thinking might be limiting the potential of their business benefit from seeing more like an Anthropologist.
I offer workshops and talks intended to heighten your and your teams' awareness of the importance of understanding context. Let's talk about how I might add value at your next team offsite.

People Managers
Increasingly team leaders are asked to put together teams made up of people from different backgrounds, experiences and aptitudes. This is a good thing given that diversity and the creative frictions to which it gives rise are more likely to spark creative thinking than does group think. Through guided exercises and real world examples, I facilitate an engaging working session intended to underscore the benefits of diversity and how to make space for difference. Improved ways of working aligned to business strategy, better products and employee experiences is the objective. Using examples from your "use cases," the workshop is customized to address the specific challenges you face as a leader of people.

CHROs
Company culture and employee experience are much talked about within many companies today. But what do these terms really mean? And, more importantly, how do they play out within your organization. Surveys do a great job at flagging areas of concern, but what they fail to do is get to the why. Why are employees disengaged, why are your career development courses under utilized? To get at these questions you need both a quantitive approach and a qualitative one. By identifying and mapping the factors that impact your particular company culture and employee experiences, I provide you with a more informed understanding from which to develop and implement meaningful people strategies.
